After the loss of a loved one, it’s common to receive many beautiful vases of flowers from friends and family. I offer an hourly in-home service to help ease this time: I’ll clean out spent blooms, refresh and regroup the arrangements, and can add roses, lilies, or other favorite flowers as requested. Pricing depends on the flowers chosen. This service allows you to enjoy the flowers longer and provides a little more comfort during the grieving process. 

I approach every home with care and sensitivity, making gentle conversation to ensure you feel at ease. Friends or family members can pre-order a minimum of two hours as a thoughtful gift, and I’ll coordinate directly with the recipient to take care of everything. 

Westside Special: 2 hours for $75, including travel within a 10-mile radius (covering Banks, Beaverton, Laurel, and north of Helvetia). For locations beyond Washington County, please contact me to discuss options. 

Your Special Day ! – If you have your heart set on a particular flower, it’s best to call your florist before you set your wedding date! While some flowers are available year-round, others—like lilies—thrive and look their best in the summer, and blooms such as peonies are at their peak in late spring. The easiest way to keep your flower budget in check is to choose varieties that will be in season on your wedding day.

I am now specializing in smaller, more intimate weddings, working with parties that include the Bride and 1–3 additional attendants—resulting in 2–4 bouquets and a matching number of boutonnieres, plus arrangements for family members (such as parents and grandparents) and reception décor. This allows me to give each wedding the care and attention it deserves.

Bulk Flowers 

I offer bulk flower purchasing for clients who want to DIY arrangements for a project or special event. With access to over two acres of blooms, three main suppliers, and more than 20 local growers, there’s a wide variety to choose from! 

For large orders, please provide at least two weeks’ notice to ensure I can source everything you need. My service fee covers ordering, pickup, and delivery, with a minimum charge of 4 hours for $75, and $20 per hour thereafter. This includes flower food for the water and a fresh bottom cut, but does not cover additional flower or container prep. Square buckets are available for $8 each from the shop.

Keep in mind that those $19.99 roses from the store might already be two weeks old by the time you bring them home. If the petals start falling or the heads droop soon after purchase, it’s likely due to the flowers’ age—not anything you did wrong. You can try giving the stems a fresh angle cut under warm water to help revive them. 

Don’t let one bad experience turn you away from roses or other flowers! Look for a florist—like me—who is committed to sourcing the freshest blooms every time. I’ve even had some flowers last an entire month! 

Who doesn’t love a grandiose wedding? It’s easy to spend too much money everywhere for a wedding! Decide what is most important to you & the Groom. If you hate cake, get cheesecake! Same with flowers. The Bride & Grooms flowers are going to be in so many pictures, make them the Best of all! Then stick to very simple, even single flowers, on the reception tables & such. If you haven’t picked the date yet, you NEED TO KNOW flowers are most expensive up to 2 weeks before a major holiday & for about 4 days after it. So adjusting the date could save you hundreds of dollars! 2024 

Manage your debt & expenses wisely by selecting the most important categories TO YOU. 

For example, To get the flowers you really want maybe hand out disposable cameras or have a friend take the shots. If professional pics & flowers are the most important for YOU – maybe have a friend or relative make the cake or even a cupcakes or pies 

Have the florist make the really important flowers (bride, groom, wedding party, parents) then have the adult & children family members decorate the reception venue. Often we find visiting family & friends have excess time on their hands & would love a chance to help & are happy to contribute.  

So remove any categories you don’t absolutely need or care about — if the ceremony and reception are at the same location, for example, you might be able to save on transportation costs. This way you will have the costs covered & you can relax & enjoy YOUR DAY!! 

2025 – If you have a special vase you’d like to use for an event or occasion, simply bring it clean and ready to go. I’ll design and deliver your arrangement directly to the recipient or event in your vase. Sending a picture of the vase along with its dimensions will help me order the perfect amount of flowers, greenery, and accents to create a beautiful arrangement. 

It can be hard to know who to contact when you are in another state or country & want to order from a local business. You have to rely on website pics & maybe a referral or Reviews online. 

I got an email from EUROPE! for a local delivery. She mentioned a pic from my website she liked (pink & yellow), I confirmed a price & the PayPal bill was sent. My flowers on left, seen here were a min. ($20 less than the ones on the right). The pink roses were fresh & nothing was “wrong” with them, just simple with a lot of greens. 

What I want to share is the other florists have overhead (building, employees, having to keep stock, etc..) This makes it hard for the general florist to make ends meet. Hence the higher cost & often smaller arrangement. They have nice & tidy web layouts & you just pick & go. 

If you look through my site ALL are arrangements I made.  Generally I can get close to what you want (color or flower).  The lady desired pink & yellow.  My flowers have their own style, the flowers really come together as they will.
